Tax Deed and Foreclosure Sales

 Attention Property Owners:

To pay back taxes and fees to cancel a sale, please follow the instructions on the notice received from the Clerk, or obtain payoff information by calling (239) 533-2800, or by going to the Records Request System. Be prepared to provide email, fax, or mailing information, as payoff quotes are not given by phone.

Searching for Documents 

To search for documents related to sales prior to November 22, 2016, please use the OnBase instructions [PG1]. To search for documents related to sales from November 22, 2016 forward, please use RealTDM instructions [PG2]. 

If you are not sure which system to use, it is recommended that you begin your search in RealTDM. If no case is found, it is likely in OnBase. 

Sale Dates & Times

Tax Deed sales are held online Tuesdays, starting at 10:00am.

Foreclosure sales are held online* throughout the week at various times. The calendars for both tax deeds and foreclosures can be found on the auction sites.

*Sometimes a foreclosure sale is held at the courthouse, pursuant to the final judgment. These sales begin at 11:00 AM and are held only on Tuesdays.



Bidder Deposits, Redemption Payments, and Purchase Payment can be made in person or sent by mail.

The Clerk’s Office makes no warranties or representation about the condition, marketability, existing or potential uses, title, outstanding liens, mortgages or other encumbrances, zoning regulations or laws that may affect current or future uses of the property, or existence of any conditions regarding any property and structures or fixtures thereon offered for sale by the Clerk.


Surplus Funds

Tax Deed Surplus Funds are held by the Clerk for payment to government agencies, lienholders, and previous owners. Unclaimed funds are remitted to the state annually, and can be searched/claimed at
